Surterre Properties® recent Laguna Beach area eWaste drive, held at the Laguna Beach School District parking lot on January 14th, did a tremendous amount of good for the environment, collecting approximately 14,096 pounds (over 7 tons) of electronic waste, and shredding approximately 6,500 pounds of confidential documents on-site. For this event, Surterre and the Laguna Beach community’s commitment to ProShred’s environmentally conscious shredding and recycling service saved 60 trees.

Surterre’s recent Newport Beach area eWaste drive, held at its Fashion Island headquarters on October 29th, did a tremendous amount of good for the environment, collecting approximately 7,144 pounds (over 3.5 tons) of electronic waste, and approximately 7,600 pounds of paper to be shredded and recycled. For this event, Surterre and the local community’s commitment to ProShred’s environmentally conscious shredding and recycling service saved 74 trees. Year to date, 356 trees have been saved and 37,927 pounds of paper have been shredded at Surterre’s eWaste events.
