Blood Drive Recap

On Monday, July 25th, the American Red Cross arrived at Surterre Properties®’ Newport Beach Headquarters for the company’s biannual blood drive. All donated blood was taken to a processing lab in Santa Ana to be tested and then distributed to local hospitals. In just six hours’ time, enough blood was collected to save a total of 156 lives.

“We’re thrilled to have seen such a turnout at our blood drive,” remarked Surterre’s President and co-founder Gary Legrand. “Part of Surterre Properties’ core philosophy is maintaining a strong sense of responsibility to the communities we serve. There exists a tremendous demand for blood in Orange County hospitals – to think that we’ve helped save more than 150 lives is extremely rewarding. “

On Monday, January 24th, the American Red Cross arrived at Surterre Properties®’ Newport Beach Headquarters for the company’s annual blood drive. Thirty-four donors came and 25 pints of blood were collected. In just six hours’ time, the blood drive yielded enough donations to save up to 75 lives.
