Becoming a U.S. Green Building Council member and earning our Certified EcoBroker® designation are just a couple examples of how we think and act green. Since our 2006 launch, we’ve made every effort to create the most eco-friendly working environment imaginable, utilizing environmentally conscious materials in our day-to-day business and appointing our offices with furniture that’s made of reclaimed and recycled materials. What’s more, we’ve partnered with like-minded organizations to further this mission, holding monthly eWaste drives.
A fixture in Southern California’s luxury real estate market for more than twenty-five years, Gary Legrand has led the industry to new levels of innovation, service, and success. In launching Surterre Properties®, which he co-founded in 2006, he introduced to Orange County a new standard in the way of outstanding real estate service—one that’s upheld by a team of more than 430 top-performing professionals. With offices in Laguna Beach, Corona del Mar, Monarch Beach, San Clemente, and Irvine in addition to its Newport Beach headquarters, Surterre maintains the majority market share in much of coastal Orange County year after year. Before launching Surterre Properties, Legrand led teams at many of the region’s most successful real estate firms, including Coldwell Banker Previews. A longtime Newport Beach resident, he was also an investor and CFO for Coast Newport Properties.
A nationally recognized real estate marketing and branding expert, Paula Ansara-Wilhelm is a creative visionary whose work has changed the way people buy and sell property. Upon creating the Surterre brand and co-founding Surterre Properties in 2006, she established the Surterre Studio—the only full-service advertising agency of its kind in the real estate community. Under Paula’s leadership, the Studio has received more than 60 awards to date—and, even more importantly, it’s created an immeasurable advantage for Surterre’s agents and brokers, who utilize the Studio’s talented team of 15 to develop customized marketing plans for their homes. Prior to her work at Surterre, she co-founded Strada Properties and headed the marketing efforts at Coldwell Banker Previews, Strada Properties, Coast Newport Properties, Century 21, and E.R.A. She also worked at major ad agencies like Foote, Cone & Belding, and Bozell Worldwide. Today, she is on the board of Miracles for Kids, a nonprofit with a mission to improve the lives of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
